Flexbox Fire Rated Back Boxes.
The Flexbox loudspeaker back boxes improve the multiroom audio experience by reducing background noise, diffusing distortion, and providing a vapor barrier. Flexible construction provides easy installation in both new construction as well as retrofit installations.
Flexbox back boxes are flame retardant and meet ASTM E119 and UL 263/NFPA 251 (1 hour) and ASTM E84/NFPA 70 standards. In-wall enclosures fit within 3.5” deep stud bays, while in-ceiling enclosures are sized for 6” bays, and can be rolled up and inserted through a hole for retrofit installations.
